Progress on NZ Rail Maps has been slow during the past month, but the Volume 10 work needed for Dunedin to Mosgiel is practically completed, however about a week of work is still required to generate some maps from this. A hardware upgrade has just been completed on the map production computer so the Volume 10 work can be pressed ahead to completion.

After this, the rest of the year is expected to be spent on updating all the projects which are needed for doing a webmaps update at the end of the year (the task that had been originally planned for the end of last year) and getting a big dump of aerial surveys from Linz/NZCS for historical NZR aerial photography for several volumes of maps.
