Good evening. Completion of these mosaics and extracting the tiles from them for use in the maps has gone slower than expected over the past few days and delayed progress on the maps themselves. This is progressing, but at a slower rate than we had anticipated with the last update. However, we are expecting to have the tiles in the GIS within a day or two.

Our overall project schedule for Volume 1 has, however, effectively been set back a week due to this and other factors, explained in more detail in a Project Development post. We still desire to push ahead as quickly as possible to complete Volume 1 in the near future and are looking forward to see this move along quickly in the later part of this week.
